Lawrence Lipnik has performed with many ensembles including Anonymous 4, the Waverly Consort, and ARTE. He is a founding member of both the acclaimed vocal ensemble Lionheart and viol consort Parthenia, and is a frequent collaborator with video artist William Wegman. His busy teaching schedule has included numerous national and international workshops including the Benslow Music Trust in Hitchin, and Charney Manor, UK, Amherst Early Music, Pinewoods, Ghost Ranch, New Mexico, and Wesleyan University. He has recently prepared an authoritative edition of Francesco Cavalli’s opera La Calisto, which was commissioned by the Juilliard School and performed by the San Francisco Opera, and has recorded for numerous labels including EMI, Angel, Nimbus, Virgin, Sony, Koch International, and has served as music consultant for the Bill Cosby Show.
